Fig & Manchego Toast
Sweet, salty, crunch
Toasted bread topped with fig spread, a thin slice of aged manchego, a thread of EVOO, and crushed marcona almonds. Every bite hits sweet, salty, nutty, and crunchy at once. If Iberico Club's fig spread is out of stock, any quality fig jam works — the manchego, almonds, and oil are the Iberico Club backbone.
Ingredients
- Unique Artisanal Manchego Cheese “Gran Reserva” Dehesa de los Llanos 8.8 Ounces
- Premium Roasted Marcona Almonds with Sea Salt 7.5oz
- All natural Black Fig fruit spread. 11.6 oz.
- Award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Picual 500ml.
Preparation
- Toast small rounds of bread until golden and firm.
- Spread a thin layer of fig jam or fig spread on each toast.
- Lay a thin slice of manchego over the fig. It should cover the toast.
- Drizzle with EVOO, scatter crushed marcona almonds, and finish with a tiny pinch of flaky salt.
